I was born in 1967 in Homabay County went to Lake primary, Kisumu ; Mawego Technical and  Kakamega High Schools. I joined Kenyatta University to study B. Ed.(Science) course in 1987.  On completion I was posted to Kisumu Girls High School and later Kisumu National Polytechnic . I enrolled and completed my MSc. and PhD courses in Physics at Maseno University. I am currently a Lecturer in the Department of Physics and Material Science at Maseno University
