Safaricom CEO Mr. Peter Ndegwa pays a courtesy call to maseno university at the Maseno Kisumu Campus to assert the company's full support to the institution and work together to ensure students benefit from their products. This is as a result of an MOU earlier signed on the same which will ensure good collaboration between Maseno University and Safaricom.

Catherine Mbagaya holds a PhD degree from Leiden University, the Netherlands and a Master of Education degree in Psychology from Maseno University. Since completing her PhD, Catherine has been teaching and mentoring Masters and PhD students at Maseno University.
